The interpretation of your astrology chart begins on the
following page.
You will find that the interpretation of your chart is
written in simple language, uncluttered by astrological jargon.
If a statement appears to contradict another statement, then you
exhibit these opposite qualities at different times in your
life. For example, a statement that you are highly sociable and
gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly
contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need
both sociability and solitude at different times.
The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on
is also given. The astrological factor is given for the benefit
of astrologers and students of astrology. If you are not a
student of astrology, then obviously the factor will not be
meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.
If you find this interpretation of your birth chart
interesting and informative, you might want to discuss your
birth chart with a professional astrologer to learn more about
the astrological influences on your life.
Your birth chart interpretation is based on the positions of
the planets at the time of your birth. For the benefit of
students of astrology, these positions, along with other
technical information, are listed below:

Section 1: General Characteristics
Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards
life are symbolized by the four astrological elements. Each
person has their own unique balance of these four basic
energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth
(practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and
intellectual qualities), and water (emotional needs and
feelings).
Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that
most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking
or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means
that you need to consciously develop that aspect of yourself to
learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that dimension of
life.
Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed
with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more often we
neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be
reiterated and explained in more detail in the following
chapters.
You are often so enthusiastically involved in your projects,
so intent on taking action and making something happen, that you
do not take adequate time to reflect and to gain a sense of
objectivity and detached awareness of what you are doing.
Furthermore, you are apt to override or ignore anyone who raises
reasonable questions about what you are doing. You rarely ask
advice or take advantage of others' feedback.
Cooperating and participating in the give and take of a
relationship between equals don't come easily to you, and you
are more comfortable in relationships where one person is
clearly more superior or dominant (chief-subordinate,
teacher-pupil, parent-child, etc.). You also have trouble
understanding and communicating with people whose interests and
approach toward life differ from your own, for you tend to view
differences as a conflict or threat.
You need to develop a capacity to appreciate differences and
to be objective in regard to yourself.
Although you are energetic and confident, as described
above, you also express yourself with a lot of feeling and
sensitivity, as described in greater detail in the next chapter.
You appear to be less cocksure and narcissistic than you are.

Fire is Strong, Air is Weak (F,E,A,W Scores = 27,7,2,13)

Section 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others
The following is a description of your basic stance towards
life, the way others see you, the way you come across, the face
you show to the world. In Chapter 3 you will read about the "The
Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of
person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read
this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be
significant differences between them, in which case "the inner
you" may not shine through and others are in for some surprises
when they get to know you at a more than superficial level. This
chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in life, while
Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.
You appear gentle and soft, and you act rather reserved with
others until you know them well and feel it is safe to be open
with them. You have a strong need for emotional security and a
sense of belonging, and are deeply attached to the past: your
heritage, roots, family, cherished friends, familiar places,
etc. Making radical changes or moves away from what is known and
safe can be very painful and difficult for you. You tend to
cling and hold on to people, memories, possessions of personal
or sentimental significance. Having a home, a safe haven, is
very important to you.
You approach life emotionally and subjectively and are
sensitive to the emotional atmosphere, the subtle undercurrents
of feeling in and around you. Instinctive and nonrational, you
are often unable to give a clear, simple explanation for your
actions. Something FEELS right, or it doesn't.
Your emotions and personal loyalties tend to color your
thoughts and opinions. You view life from a very personal
perspective and often cannot mentally detach yourself from your
own personal bias and prejudices. You are apt to be concerned
primarily with how something affects you and those dear and
close to you, rather than with the principle or the broader
social implications. For instance, you may be very patriotic and
feel that whatever "my country" does is right without really
knowing much about the other nation's policies or point of view.
Put simply: if it is good for me and mine, it is good. If it is
not good for me and mine, it is no good.
You are tenaciously loyal, protective, and supportive of
those you care about, and have a very strong nurturing, motherly
nature (regardless of your gender). You empathize with others
and intuitively sense the feelings and needs of other people.
Compassionate and sympathetic, you are easily moved by others'
pain, and you are often the one others seek out when they need
comfort, reassurance, or help.
Your moods fluctuate and change frequently and you are
sometimes open, sometimes withdrawn emotionally. You communicate
nonverbally and appreciate a person who can pick up subtle cues
and hints, rather than having to make everything explicit.
You never forget either kindness or unkindness shown to
you.
You may come across a bit scattered, nervous, or restless,
as if you can't sit still. You seem alert and quick, but
sometimes a bit on edge. You tend to stay perpetually busy, and
would find handiwork of some kind to be soothing.

Section 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
Although you appear gentle and soft, and you are sympathetic
towards other people (as explained in the previous chapter), you
are also a "warrior". You sometimes feel torn between these two
aspects of yourself: the sensitive, tender-hearted, home-loving
side, and the assertive, competitive, risk-taking side. Often
people who first meet you think that you are a "softy", but
later find out that you are a person with a strong will and
aggressive in pursuing your goals.
You are a person who thrives on challenge, and you often
feel that you must battle your way through life, depending upon
no one and nothing but your own strength, intelligence, and
courage. You believe in being totally honest, true to oneself
and one's own vision and convictions, even if that means
standing alone. Honesty, integrity, personal honor, and
authenticity are your gods, and you have no sympathy for
weakness of character in others.
You crave the freedom to do things in your own way, and you
work very well independently. Cooperating with others or
carrying out another's will is not your style. You like to be
the chief -or to go it alone.
You love action and if others are settling down into a nice,
comfortable little rut, then you are always ready to stir things
up, do something new, make changes, bring in some fresh blood.
Routine and sameness are like death to you. You are not afraid
of trying something that's never been done before, and even
though you may be seen as a fool sometimes, you also discover,
invent, and initiate things that others will later emulate.
Taking risks and following your own star are the breath of life
for you, and you wilt (or get very frustrated and angry) if you
cannot do this.
You are spontaneous, impulsive, direct, enthusiastic, and
assertive. You believe in the power of positive thinking and
positive action, and you think of yourself as a strong person
-even invincible. You hate being ill or in any way in a position
of dependency. Accepting your own human limitations and
emotional needs is often difficult for you.
You are basically aggressive in your attitudes and have less
facility in the receptive arts of relating to others, picking up
subtle messages and nuances, listening, nurturing, and
harmonizing. Often you are so fired up about your own projects
or goals that you inadvertently run over or ignore other
people's feelings and interests. Being receptive and
appreciative of others' contributions, ideas, and feelings would
go a long way in improving your relationships. Your impatience
to get on with things causes you to be rather insensitive, and
to therefore alienate others unnecessarily. You also frequently
try to accomplish your ends by using anger or some version of a
temper tantrum. You would gain much by learning to slow down,
relax, and just let things be sometimes, but your energetic,
restless nature rarely allows you to do this.
Your career, reputation, and public image are very
important to you. You have a strong desire to be influential or
make your mark on the world. The merely personal sphere does not
satisfy you; your ambitions include making a major contribution
and receiving broad recognition for your unique effort and
gifts. You may undervalue the personal or inner side of life.
You feel that you have the support of your family or others
in your environment for your creative efforts and personal
goals, which enables you to act with confidence. You are able to
satisfy both your need to be an individual, and your need for
caring relationships and a sense of belonging. You are in
harmony with yourself and are therefore an effective
individual.
Innovative, original, unorthodox, and unconventional, you
identify with the role of rebel, reformer, or iconoclast. You
insist upon a great deal of personal freedom and do not easily
adapt yourself to others' needs and wishes. You need a lifestyle
that allows you to be spontaneous. Often you feel that you are
somehow different from other people and outside the mainstream
of society.
You are intensely willful, zealous, and fanatical, though
often you hide the intensity of your feelings and your personal
motives and desires. You have an infatuation with power and an
almost compulsive desire for personal recognition, the desire to
be Somebody. You tend to worship Heroes who have powerful
personal magnetism and charisma, and often seek to emulate them.
You also have both a fear of, and an intense fascination with,
death and the hidden, secret, dark side of life.
You may be a bit high-strung and over-zealous in the pursuit
of your endeavors. You always seem to be in a hurry and have the
ability to evaluate situations quickly. You have a brilliant
mind and possibly could invent something.

Section 4: Mental Interests and Abilities
Outspoken and direct, you are always eager to express your
ideas and opinions and don't mind opposing the consensus and
stirring up a little controversy. You have fresh, original ideas
and much enthusiasm for anything new and untried, but once the
novelty has worn off, you are interested in another new idea or
project. You never seem to have enough time to do all you want
to. You are very honest, speak decisively and convincingly about
things you believe in, and are unable to pretend to agree with
someone if you honestly don't. You may be somewhat deficient in
tact.
You think a great deal about your career, your reputation
and public image, and the way you make a contribution or impact
on the world at large. Public speaking or communications of some
other kind is likely to be an important aspect of the work you
do.
You are open and receptive to subjects which defy rational
explanation, such as psychic phenomena, mental telepathy,
metaphysics, etc., and you could teach these subjects to others.
Your mind is imaginative and inspired and you have an aptitude
for art and creative writing.
You have a charming disposition and love to socialize and
meet new people. You also like to be surrounded by beautiful
things and like to talk to others about your views on love
problems as well as your views on beauty, fashion and art in
general.
You have a healthy, stimulating and encouraging family
environment. You love to exchange news and ideas with others and
may be especially fond of associating with young people.
Your thoughts tend to go along artistic lines and you may
very well pursue some kind of art as a hobby. In love, you have
a sympathetic understanding of your partner's desire for
affection and seem to be able to read their wishes from their
eyes.
Your aspirations seem to be geared toward intellectual and
spiritual lines and you tend to base your friendships on mutual
inner understanding. You share your thoughts and plans mostly
with people who have the same interests that you have.

Section 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
Warm, loving, and generous in your affections, you inspire
tremendous devotion and loyalty in your loved ones. This is
good, since you would never settle for anything less! You want
to be adored and worshipped like the king or queen that you feel
you are, and it is difficult for anyone to resist the warmth and
attention you lavish on those you care about. You have a great
deal of pride and need to be recognized and appreciated. The way
to really hurt your feelings is to ignore you. You are genuine,
sincere, and have a strong sense of personal integrity. You hate
emotional games and dishonesty.
You have a soft exterior and tend to relate very personally
and sympathetically to other people. However, you sometimes let
your emotions overpower your reasoning and logic, and
consequently you are sometimes biased in your opinions. You are
impressionable and rather gentle, or at least that is the way
you appear. Your feelings are on the surface and you can not
hide your emotions.
You tend to be touchy, defensive and rather territorial,
and if you perceive a threat to your family or home or personal
safety, you can be quite aggressive. Sometimes you feel out of
sorts and hostile for no apparent reason, and this is usually
due to unexpressed, unresolved anger from the past. You also
have a desire to lead, to compete, or to be a free agent, that
you aren't entirely conscious of. It's good for you to have
benign outlets and ways to let off steam on a regular basis,
such as demanding physical work or athletics. Otherwise you may
be rather hard to live with, even abusive to those around you.
In love, you are steadfast and loyal, especially if you have
a warm, demonstrative partner. You are very sensually oriented
and need lots of touching and physical affection. You enjoy
being pampered with a good meal, loving massage, or other
sensual delights. You are a wonderful lover, very attentive to
the comfort and enjoyment of the one you love. You are
tremendously responsive to beauty and physical appearances, and
the physical attractiveness of your partner is very important to
you.
Promoting beauty, the arts, or entertainment can make you
very happy. You want to contribute something positive and loving
to the world at large and you want to be recognized for your
beauty, artistic gifts, or loving generosity. You may "marry"
your work - that is, be more involved in your career than in
your private life. You are a natural hostess or diplomat.
Sensitive and compassionate, you tend to be the "giver" in
any relationship. You have high ideals and a refined attitude
towards love, seeking to relate in ways that are beyond ego
needs and selfishness. You are attracted to people with artistic
or mystical inclinations.

Section 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
You are noncombative, noncompetitive, and something of a
pacifist. You will give something up rather than fight for it.
You may seem weak-willed or ineffectual, for you do not have a
strong ego drive for personal achievement and material
advantage, or for winning at the expense of someone else. Being
first, being best, being on top doesn't mean much to you, and
you can be quite happy in a supporting role, working for the
benefit of others or for a cause that you believe in. You are
gentle and impressionable and are motivated by less mundane and
less tangible things than most other people. You may have
difficulty formulating clear, definite goals for yourself and
making your way in the world. You have many dreams, high ideals,
and a strong mystical or religious impulse. You also have a
creative imagination and can successfully apply yourself to art
or music. You have a sensitive physique and need to maintain
good regular health habits in order build strength and stamina.
You have passionate convictions and will fight for them
when challenged. You are willing to dedicate a great deal of
your energy and force to an important cause, and you'll act
decisively on your beliefs, rather than simply espousing them.
Sometimes you get so involved and identified with your
ideas that you cannot really be receptive to anyone who opposes
you philosophically.
You are enterprising, ambitious, and have a strong desire to
succeed in a big way. Ever on the lookout for new opportunities
and promising new ventures, you are willing to take risks if you
sense that something is going to be a winner. No matter how much
you accomplish, you never seem to be completely satisfied. You
always feel you can do more, and set your sights on another
goal. You feel frustrated in limited circumstances, and you will
leave secure and reasonably successful situations if they do not
offer challenges and potential for growth and expansion in the
future. You like to keep stretching your limits, to see how far
you can go. Sometimes you overextend yourself or promise more
than you can actually achieve, due to an overly optimistic or
overly confident assessment of your own capacities. You relish
healthy competition and feel that it spurs you on to even
greater achievements.
You have a strong sense of mission and you instinctively
know that to achieve anything great, one must eliminate
superfluous activities, and give oneself wholly to the goal one
wishes to accomplish. Your zeal, enthusiasm, and clarity of
purpose enable you to succeed and to achieve whatever you aim
for. You have a strong will, but you are usually quiet and
understated about it.
Positions of honor, affluence, influence, and stature in
your community can be yours. You feel you have a destiny which
involves leadership or distinguishing yourself in some line of
endeavor. You possess an innate sense of greatness or
importance, and a strong drive to achieve recognition for your
talent. Avoid excessive egotism and arrogant pride, for these
could limit your opportunities.
Your aspirations in life are apt to be quite unusual,
extraordinary, or ahead of their time. You're a nonconformist,
insistent on doing things your own way, and you will follow a
zigzag course to the fulfillment of your ambitions.
Rebelling against authority seems to be one aspect of your
life's plan. You simply cannot force yourself into a pre-cast
mold of any kind.
In some ways you may feel that you have little choice about
your role in society. You're compelled either by unusual outer
circumstances or by an inner drive, to bring things which may be
dark, difficult, or taboo, into public awareness. You delve into
the hidden side of life, things which may have been purposefully
concealed or repressed, and bring these things to light. You
could come into direct conflict with the authorities or
powers-that-be as a result. You're apt to have extraordinary
ambitions, and could become overly zealous and fanatical also.
Your career is apt to involve protecting, caring,
nurturing, or "mothering" in some aspect. Home, family
relationships, cherishing the past, continuing a tradition are
also featured. You're apt to be quite popular through your
profession or business.
The road to success, professional advancement, and
fulfillment of your long-range goals is apt to be easier and
smoother for you than for many. Partly this is due to getting a
great deal of support -- financial, emotional, or both. Probably
someone early in your life really believed in you and had high
expectations for you. You contribute to your own success by
having large goals, and by including, helping and enlisting the
aid of friends and others in reaching those goals. A lack of
selfishness or pettiness is a great boon to you. Whatever you do
is apt to be expansive and eventually quite prosperous.

Section 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
You have the ability to see connections between seemingly
unrelated ideas or worlds, and to bring them together. You excel
in any field requiring clear intellect, and verbal and
communication skills. You have an insatiable curiosity and may
read or watch television constantly in order to satisfy your
need for mental stimulation. Your mind never stops.
You have good fortune working with groups, organizations,
and others who share your ideals. You go further if you unite
your efforts with others, as in clubs, networks, or civic
associations. Social improvement, or benefiting your community
is very important to you.
You are always open to the new, willing to plunge in and
experiment with a fresh approach, and enthusiastic about
learning, growing, and expanding. As a result of this positive
attitude, opportunities and unexpected good fortune are drawn
into your life. You embrace change, delight in discovery, and
enjoy sharing your excitement with other people. A sense of
happy expectation and a sometimes outrageous sense of humor are
two of your great gifts.
You are cheerful and very sociable and have a strong desire
to participate in pleasurable entertainment. Your exchange of
ideas and thoughts with others is inclined to be very lively,
and you are fond of conferences or discussions.

Section 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
You have a great capacity for self-denial in the pursuit of
a long-range goal. You are capable of hard work and persistent
labor, but you may lack joyfulness and the ability to play. You
often feel burdened by life's demands and responsibilities, and
may envy those who seem to attract what they want in life
without a great deal of personal effort.
There is a very judgmental, stern, and uncompromising side
of yourself which may inhibit you a great deal. You must avoid
becoming heavy and cynical, or becoming a rather callous,
sophisticated adult whose practicality and realism squeeze out
the playful, imaginative side of life.
You take both your work and your health very seriously, but
you may demand so much of yourself at work that you compromise
your health. You can become a workaholic, not so much because
you have lofty ambitions, but because you never feel like you've
done enough. You are overly responsible or overly conscientious
at work, so much so that you may not enjoy it at all.
You can also get overly involved in self-improvement or
your health, and you tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac.
Your faith, optimism, and sense of possibilities are
tempered by much caution, and often doubt or skepticism as well.
Whatever hopes or visions you have for your life are firmly held
in check by your sense of reality. At times you may wish for
more freedom, but you also fear it and hang back. You may blame
practical limitations or some external condition or the
prevailing Authority for your own inhibitions.
You become tense and upset rather easily. You become
irritated by the unwillingness of others to make changes. Very
serious about bringing your inspirations into concrete form, you
are inclined to forego tact and diplomacy in order to accomplish
your goals. Your occasional outbreaks of brusque, insensitive
behavior often do more harm than good.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you
instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress - a
mostly unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo
because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction
you need to follow in order to develop balance, greater
awareness, and wholeness is also described.
You gain by becoming more aware of the rhythm of the seasons
and the natural world, learning to slow down and allow life to
unfold in its own time. Nurturing a garden, a child, or some
other living, growing thing gives you a sense of inner balance.
You have a tendency to be deeply suspicious, to not take
anything at face value, to see hidden agendas and dark motives
even where none exist! Life does not have to be conflict all the
time... learn to accept things as they are.
You also need to develop patience, peace and stability by
grounding yourself in your daily work and acting in a consistent
and reliable way towards others.
The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues
is in your public life and career. All of these issues will
impact your reputation and standing in your community or
professional circle, as well as how you achieve your important
life goals and aspirations.
The following are specific activities that will support you
in your growth. These may or may not feel natural to you, and
often there is some feeling of resistance or initial awkwardness
about doing these things, but they are important on your path to
wholeness.
Give and receive affection, love, and pleasure (especially
using the qualities described previously). Learn to respond to,
appreciate, and create beauty, art, harmonious surroundings and
relationships. Be aware of aesthetics and do things in a
gracious, pleasing manner. Enjoy life, nurture friendships, and
cultivate your ability to love and to receive love.

Section 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive
You are unconventional, even iconoclastic, in your attitude
toward religion, philosophy, and politics. You tend to see
traditional religion as restrictive, meaningless ritual with
little to offer you, and you're eager to experiment with other,
alternative pathways. You have lots of creative, innovative
ideas and you often feel that others are unwilling to take risks
and venture out of their deeply ingrained perspectives and
views.
You may have a great deal of confusion over money,
financial matters, and ownership. Perhaps these things mean very
little to you. Or possibly you simply don't know how to deal
with them in a realistic, effective way.
Also, you may make your living through artistic, musical,
or highly imaginative endeavors.
You have a deep interest in secrets, the underworld or
unconscious, and anything hidden and mysterious. Psychoanalysis,
investigating your dreams, and other methods of uncovering
secrets are very interesting to you. You may be exceptionally
perceptive intuitively or psychically. Your emotions and
subconscious energies are complex, and periodic transformations
and personal crises are sprinkled liberally throughout your
lifetime.
Your relationships are filled with passion and you are
likely to have many affairs. You have a tendency to fall in love
at first sight, but also to get bored quickly. You are very
independent and have a constant need for excitement in your
life.
You are able to organize activities well and seek active
cooperation with others. Some of your meetings could occur
suddenly, or you may unexpectedly start to work on a project
with others. At times you also could have joint upsets or
anxieties.
You tend to underestimate your ability to succeed and are
often unable to follow through on your intentions. You are quick
to resign, easily drained and should guard against depression
and negative mental, emotional or physical reactions.
You feel most comfortable in grandiose surrounding and are
likely to seek associations with rich people. You seem to have
an extraordinary and unusual desire for possessions and wealth,
and strive to attain success, excellence or preeminence in some
way.

Section 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group
In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits
of your generation. Of course, you may not share all of the
characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected
by the tone that is set by your generation.
The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of
Your Age Group". In this section we will describe a deeply felt
urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply felt drive
comes to the surface with great force and power, and
consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and
change. The second topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your
Age Group", that describes the dreams, fantasies, and spiritual
aspirations of your age group. The third and last topic is "What
is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes areas
in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive,
unusual, and also where it may be unstable and unreliable.
The characteristics described below may affect a group of
people for anywhere from a few years to about 30 years. There
are one or more different astrological factors described in each
of the three sections below.
The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
You are part of a 25 year group of people who have strong
feelings for home and country. You are a sentimental group, and
feel deeply attached to your family and your country. You cling
to the familiar, are distrustful and fearful of different
cultures, and consequently a great deal of racial and ethnic
prejudice is common among your age group.
Your need for closeness and togetherness runs very deep and
causes you to bond closely to family members and old friends,
and also makes you prone to be involved in mass movements and
group activities because they feed your largely subconscious
need for acceptance and support by others. Unfortunately, your
age group is easily carried away by a group frenzy and many of
you often lack the integrity or courage to think and act in an
independent and rational way.
Your generation is very emotional and tenderhearted. Many of
your group sacrificed a great deal to help your children or
other family members, while other generations are unwilling to
give as much as you have. Your tender feelings and regard for
the well-being of others can spur your age group to make
contributions towards the feeding of the hungry, care for the
neglected, and support for the needy, particularly children and
mothers. You are a group of people with a strong heart and a
helpful hand. Many of you have parents and/or children who are
not nearly as supportive and helpful; many of your contributions
are not completely appreciated or even go unnoticed.
The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group
You are part of a 14 year group of people who are
conservative and moderate in spiritual aspirations. Your age
group tends to avoid speculation on metaphysical matters, and
interest in psychic phenomena is considered very strange and
weird by your age group. There is also a strong sense of right
and wrong, and religious practices tend to emphasize ethics and
moral judgment. The conservative, straight-laced atmosphere
generated by your age group is frustrating to more imaginative
types, who consequently rebelled against it.
What is New and Different in Your Age Group
You are part of a 7 year group of people who are highly
independent, self-reliant, self-willed, and rebellious. You are
